Nazareth Academy Grade School
Parent Association

                                                                                             September, 2009

Dear NAGS Families,

Welcome back to everyone and a special hello to our new families here at Nazareth.  We hope everyone had a healthy and relaxing summer and we are excited to start the new year at our wonderful school.

The goal of the Parents' Association is to bring us together as a family.  Through our many events we have the opportunity to socialize and support our school at the same time.  Some events raise funds for the school which is very important, but many events raise FUN and bring us together.

Below is a list of events planned for the year.  We ask that you look it over, see what appeals to you, and help where and when you can.  No one person can do it all.  This is a group effort and we hope everyone tries to participate.

When our children see our participation and the importance of Nazareth to us, they will also be inspired and take pride in their school.  Our children absorb all we do and say.  We can sit back and see what our school can do for us or we can stand up and see what we can do for our school.

It is an honor to serve this year as President of the Parents' Association.  Thank you for your confidence.  Thank  you also for all you do and God bless you and your families.

Fondly,
Bernice Giordano Duesler

Nazareth Academy Grade School Parents' Association
End of School Year Tuition Voucher Eligibility

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year!  We have a lot of great events planned this year and your involvement in NAGSPA is needed and appreciated.

What's in it for you?  How about a tuition voucher for the following year!

At the final NAGSPA meeting in May, the Parents' Association will have a tuition voucher drawing.  The amount is determined by the Board and historically, vouchers have ranged from $250 to $500.

In order to participate in the drawing, you must volunteer your services.  Be sure to fill out a NAGSPA Volunteer sign-up sheet and we will forward it to the event host who will contact you.

You would be eligible for one chance towards a tuition voucher for each of the following:

*NAGSPA Board member
*Host an event
*Be a Classroom Ambassador
*Sell 3 tickets to Viva Las Vegas (Monte Carlo Night) and 3 tickets to the
                Auction
*Sell 4 ads for the Auction Ad Book
*Provide assistance during 3 events, clean up and set up included
*Attend 5 of this year's 7 NAGSPA meetings
*Sell 5 lottery tickets (1 voucher for every 5 tickets)

All event hosts will have a volunteer sign-in sheet which will be forwarded to the Sergeant-at-Arms.  The Sergeant-at-Arms keeps a record of all events,.

The NAGSPA Board thanks you in advance and looks forward to your participation.

Sincerely,

Christine Cerquetelli
